Mentoring in Medicine (MIM)

MIM inspires and equips disadvantaged and low-income students to become health care professionals through academic enrichment, leadership development, civic engagement and mentoring programs from elementary to professional school. MIM also helps meet the nation's healthcare and science needs by helping diversify the biomedical workplace. It strives to improve healthcare and science literacy in disadvantaged communities. Over 1800 students have participated in MIM programs since 2009, 98% enrolled in college and many have pursued STEM careers in college.
