We face many tough new challenges in our refugee employment effort in 2025. Funds from WellMet are helping in numerous ways as we assist good, hardworking new Americans find safe dignified employment, launch careers and rebuild their lives.

“The WellMet grant allows us to expand access to inclusive surf education and environmental stewardship for youth in NYC, creating safe spaces where historically excluded communities can thrive in and around the ocean.”

The funds from Wellmet will be instrumental in ensuring that our mental health services can continue to reach young people who need them but have barriers to accessing quality mental health services, such as a lack of insurance.

WellMet’s generous grant will allow us to show up more meaningfully for Hispanic families, including those living in migrant shelters, through free doula support packages.
