MASA (Mexican American Student Alliance)

Begun in 2001 to help young Mexican immigrants succeed in school through mentoring and homework help for kids. The aim is college. MASA also provides GED help for the families. Our grant helped with the expansion of program staff.

Because of our grant, Masa was able to engage in intensive strategic planning and growth, and eventually to hire much needed staff to develop its programs and resources.
