For Women By Women, Period's mission is to provide access to menstrual products for those affected by period poverty through distribution, education, and advocacy for menstrual equity.
1 in 5 individuals experience period poverty which affects their lives in various ways. For some it means they miss school or are unable to attend work. In many cases you see women choosing to spend their income on bills and/or food instead of purchasing menstrual products. We believe that one should not have to choose between the two. Menstrual products should be easily accessible for all as they are a necessity not a privilege.
