Rising Tide Effect was founded in 2021 to address a critical gap in water safety and swimming education for underserved communities that face disproportionate drowning rates. Drowning is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths, especially among low-income and underprivileged populations, and our mission is to create a positive evolution in underserved and at-risk communities through water safety and instruction. Rising Tide Effect’s goal is to free people from fear and access joy, using water as the medium.
By breaking down barriers to water access, we are not only saving lives through water education and drowning prevention, but also fostering confidence, resilience, and a lifelong relationship with water.
