South Asian Youth Action (SAYA)

Saya was founded in 1996 to help create social change via programs for South Asian youth, ages 11-19. Our grant helped underwrite a mentoring program for women. Saya is presently in 5 public schools serving some 600 youth annually. There are now college access programs for SAT prep, visits to college campuses and help with college applications.
